Tinsley Dry Goods has been a landmark in downtown Springfield since 1840. With its tin ceiling, pine beams and rustic oak floor, it looks much as it would have when Mr. Lincoln shopped here. The store provides access by ramp or elevator to the adjacent Lincoln-Herndon Law Offices and has a wheelchair accessible restroom. It also serves as headquarters for Springfield Walks tours. The store offers Lincoln busts and souvenirs, Civil War memorabilia, rustic metal and wood signs, soy candles and cards.
