The hotel is convenient to historic attractions such as the Old State Capitol and Lincoln Home as well as the convention center, located just across the street. Breakfast is served in the Highland Room and lunch, dinner and late night snacks in Bennigan's Grill and Tavern. The Hilton also boasts the only Starbucks in downtown Springfield. Accessible guest rooms, created by combining two standard rooms, are spacious and feature two bathrooms, one of which is adapted for wheelchairs.
